My son Kael Isaiah John Holman was an inspiration to many people with his courage and determination.

Kael was born on the 24th August 2003 and was the long awaited son for my husband Micheal and baby brother to Ella.

Kael was such an easy child and so placid. He was never rough and cared about the feelings of others.

Our world was turned upside down on the 3rd July 2009 when Kael was diagnosed with T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. He seemed to do well on treatment but in December 2010 he presented with pain in his legs and eventually the diagnosis of secondary histiocytic disorder was made.

Unfortunately Kael was not able to fight the effects of the rare combination of the T- cell Acute Lympoblastic Leukamia and the secondary histiocytic disorder and on the 12th April 2011, Kael took his last breath.

In memory of my son, we need to stand together and find a cure for cancer and histiocytosis, so no other family needs to feel the pain we do.

I love you my mighty warrior.
